The Cincinnati Reds are kicking off their season very soon, all of the Cincinnati area is excited to see what this year brings and the achievements the team will make.

This year is the 101st Reds Opening Day Parade, the parade has always been an important thing to have on opening day to start of the season. It has always been a tradition since the very first parade on April 17,1889. The parade is always full of life and excitement to honor Cincinnati and to get people ready for the new season.

The Stadium will open on March 26,2020 when the Red’s take on the St. Louis Cardinals for their opening day game at 4:50 pm. Before the gates open up down at the stadium, there will be a parade for all of Cinicinnati to attend. The parade will begin at 12:00pm starting at Findlay market and going on a 15 block stretch. The parade will end about 2pm, the parade is a very large parade and if you are wanting to attend this parade and get the best seats, and parking the time to get there is around 9 am.

There are many things to do during and after the parade including food trucks, live music, and cold drinks. There are also many activities for kids that are taking part over at Washington Park in front of Music Hall.

This parade has always been a big part of Cincinnati’s history and we are celebrating it’s 101st birthday. If you can go out and join the rest of the Cincinnati area, I highly recommend this day that will be full of entertainment and fun.
