Seasons From Senior Perspective

Sport seasons are coming to an end for Seniors at Batavia High School. As football and soccer came to a closing, Basketball players geared up in preparation for their season. For some, it will be their last.

Returning basketball player Jeff Shepherd says that basketball is something that he will miss more than anything. “One of the best parts of being in high school is being close with my teammates and doing something I love everyday.” said Shepherd.

After graduating, Shepherd hopes to work for his dad and hopefully one day take over the family company.

“We may not have had many wins this season, but getting to play with my friends and having those experiences is the most important part.” says Jeff.

Shepherd had an extravagant game against Clinton Massie where he had sixteen points, four rebounds, and he was 100% on each and every three point shot.

Congratulations to the players for the accomplishments of the Batavia High School Men’s Basketball Team. The Seniors will be missed.
