A Spring in Batavia: The Guide to Fun

Bri Page

Hello Batavia student body, are you looking for something fun to do today? Well do I have some ideas for you.

The Batavia area is located around the city of Cincinnati. This spring starts a brand new Reds baseball season. The games are family friendly and tickets can cost as low as 11 dollars but average at 40 dollars per ticket. It’s a great way to spend a night in Cincy with the family for a low price.

Another place located around the tri-state area is Kings Island. It’s central location is in Mason which is about 40 minutes away from Batavia. Kings Island opens for the 2020 season on the 11th of April. This year they are presenting a new ride named Orion. It will be the tallest and fastest ride in the park with a height of around 350 feet. Kings Island is also known for their very popular kids park called “Planet Snoopy” that has been named 1st in an amusement park.

The last location I am going to talk about is the Cincinnati Zoo. The zoo in Cincinnati is open 364 days a year, only closing on Christmas Day. The zoos most popular animal is Fiona the hippo. The zoo is the most family friendly of this list although due to its lack of alcohol in the park.
